SOCRATES / COMENIUS

The Socrates Project, which was initiated by the European Union with the prospect of creating a “Europe of Schools” in the future, aims to encourage cooperation between schools and spread European languages and culture. One of the components of the program which is executed in a range of contexts is Comenius which encourages exchange of students and projects between countries. The environmental organization within Comenius, “Young Reporters of the World” was also established at our school and has conducted significant work related to the environment. The Young Reporters of the World at Eyüboğlu have executed a variety of projects to increase environmental awareness at school and in the community.

Eyüboğlu collaborated with Lithuania and Poland; and hosted a European Language Passport Project in 2005.
