Visual Arts

The Sports and Arts Complex of Eyübo?lu Schools accommodate 6 art studios and fully equipped ceramics and sculpture studios. Expert trainers and specialist teachers supervise the work that is conducted in these facilities. In addition to drawing and painting, the students also create works in printing and ceramics. A ceramics kiln is also available to ensure that the work in this area is complete. Two of the studios which are used by students from Reception class to the final year of High School were named after two renowned Turkish artists Eren Eyübo?lu and Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu. One of the studios was named after the architect who designed the High School building, Doç. Dr. Alpay Aşkın.

Visual Arts Education

The visual arts program implemented at Eyüboğlu is based on an education model that enables the students to think visually and develop creativity. Through art activities the students learn to see while they look, get to know about the material that they touch and shape, recognize and fulfill their abilities and potentials, adopt different perspectives on the developments that take place in their environment, get better at perceiving abstract concepts, establish connections between self and the works of art, gain self-confidence as well as develop their personalities.
