Student Clubs

The student club activities are conducted on the days and at the times that are stated below.

Ataşehir Primary School

• Grades 2 – 4: Wednesday 7th and 8th class hours

Çamlıca Primary School

• Grades 2&3: Monday, 7th and 8th class hours
• Grades 4&5: Thursday, 7th and 8th class hours
• Grades 6&7: Tuesday, 8th and 9th class hours

High School and Science High School

• Grade 8 and high school classes: Wednesday, 9th and 10th class hours

How do students select clubs?

• Grades 2 - 5

During the first week of school, club advisors deliver presentations to the students to inform them about the activities of the clubs which are available to their grade level. After the presentations, students complete the “student club preference forms” together with their parents. Students number the clubs that they would like to participate in from 1 to 5, according to the order of their preference and hand in the form. The results are then posted in the classrooms and it is ensured that the students start their extracurricular work based on the announced club activity schedules. Students have the right to change their club within the first month of school.
• Grades 6 – 12

Student clubs are presented to students in Grades 5 – 10 in May every year. After club the presentations which are conducted in the school grounds, the students are asked to select the club that they would like to participate in the following year. Students number the clubs that they would like to participate in from 1 to 5, according to the order of their preference and hand in the form. The club participants’ lists are posted in the classrooms on the first day of school in the following school year. Students look up their club in the lists and participate in the club activities according to the club activity schedules. Students have the right to change their club within the first month of school.
