IT Department
Eyüboğlu has always been a pioneer in adopting state of the art technologies and integrating them with the existing systems. Teachers and students avail themselves of the opportunities provided by these state of the art technologies in their educational endeavors as well as in their work related to other areas.
In the IT system, the coordination of all the computers and all the required services in terms of hardware and software are provided through a single network.
 As communication is the key concept of this century, we are very keen on making perfect use of the current technological opportunities that are available in this vein. Our system enables us to send important notifications to the parents’ mobile phones as SMS messages. All the software programs that are needed in Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions (for keeping student information, monitoring student attendance, carrying out monthly and end-of-term grading and reportcard transactions, planning students’ and teachers’s weekly schedules, following fixed assets of the Institution, etc.) are prepared and made available to all the departments by the IT Department.
The IT Department has multimedia PCs which are equipped with advanced hardware. The computers in various sites of the campus are managed by a single center using NT and Windows 2003 operating system. Our school has Internet connection since 1994.
Since 1998 all the computers in our Institution have been renovated. In 2003 one hundred new PCs and 2 new computer labs have been added, thus the total number of computers has reached 350 and the number of labs has increased to seven. The computer labs are renovated each year in turn. All of the computers have Internet connection through a total of 2Mb line consisting of a 1Mb leased line and a 1Mb ADSL. The technical maintenance and support for all the computers in the Institution are provided by IT staff. In 2005 all of the classrooms in the High school building have been equipped with laptop computers and projection systems and work is in progress to ensure the same facilities in the Primary School building. Wireless internet and network access has been made available throughout the campus.
All the computers on the campus have connection to internet through a 4Mb line, of which 1Mb is lent and 2Mb+1Mb are ADSL. The technical maintenance and support services for all the computers on the campus are provided by the IT staff.
