Mission

The mission of Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions is to develop human resource functions to maximise the effectiveness of human capital and create sustainable competitive advantage by usage of internal and external resources.

Objectives

Human resource management has strategic role in the institution. The main objective of human resources is to increase the effectiveness of human capital by fulfillment of their expectations and needs. In order to achieve this objective, human resource department executes the following activities;

  • To plan necessary human force based on organisational structure
  • To recruit high qualified people
  • To analyse training and organisational development needs and conduct training programs
  • To run performance evaluation process and conduct activities to increase performance level with respect to institutional goals
  • To plan career paths and establish motivation and compensation packages.
  • To organise activities to increase job satisfaction
  • To search, evaluate and use human resource information systems with respect to departmental needs.

Human Resources Management Main Functions:

Strategic HR Planning

The main role of strategic hr planning is to obtain and organise necessary human force systematically based on institutional goals. Also, all employees' information are updated periodically, job descriptions are prepared, training and performance management processes are planned.

Recruitment

The candidates may apply to open positions at Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions through e-mail, mail, online, fax and newspaper ads. All applications are sorted by position and held at position pool.

Whenever there is a job vacancy, first applications at the pool are examined and the ones that best match requirements are selected and invited to first interviews. The first interviews are held by HR people, then second and third interviews are made if necessary by department heads and managers. The teachers who pass first interview, take English and occupational tests if necessary. All teachers teach a class as a part of their interview process to examine skills and abilities.

All hired employees attend orientation programs where information about the institution and the procedures about school management is provided.


Training and Organisational Development

Human resource department periodically conducts survey to understand training needs of the employees. The surveys are filled and delivered back to human resource department. Then surveys are analysed and training subjects are defined and executed.

In Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions, training program starts with orientation program. Afterwards, all employees attend training programs during the year. The teachers attend seminars, workshops and conferences abroad throughout the academic year. Their attendance is encouraged by school management. The teachers are expected to create difference at their work after attending seminars, conferences etc.

Performance Management

The performance evaluation system takes place once a year in Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions. All employees are subject to upward and downward evaluation. The results of evaluation provide input for defining the needed training programs to conduct and career paths to design. The performance evaluation system is used as an important tool to communicate the institutions' goals and values to employees.

Career Management

When the knowledge and job experience of employees increase in Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions, their responsibilities increase too. Career plans of employees are prepared based on different parameters such as their working years in the institution, their education level, their performance results, their solid abilities and behaviours towards their colleguages and the people they are reporting to and/or working with from different departments. Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions has a supportive role towards its employees while the employees define their career paths with respect to their occupational development subjects.

Compensation and Reward System

The compensation package at Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions is based on monthly salary basis. The inflation rate, performance results and industry salary surveys are also taken into consideration in calculations of the package. The local employees have one year agreement and the expat staff two-year agreements with the institution. The type of the occupation, the level of English competence-TOEFL (min 200 score), FCE, KPDS (min 70 score)-, post-graduate academic degrees (masters, phD. Etc.) and time duration worked as a teacher are also important criteria in defining the teachers' compensation package.
