"Welcome to the website of EYUBOGLU Ataşehir Primary School, which opened in 2006-2007 academic year.

At Ataşehir Primary School , we aim to ensure that our students, through intense use of technology, acquire early on the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors that will guide them in the future. With endeavors that bring out students’ academic, artistic and social strengths and with sports activities that ensure healthy physiological development, we design programs to develop students as foremost individuals of their communities.

Our school, which aims to raise students as valuable members of international as well as national communities, implements the national curriculum in integration with IB PYP. Within the scope of this integrated program, our students inquire about what they know rather than review prescribed facts; and they generate their own knowledge. They develop as principled students who know how to base their work on scientific methods and are enthusiastic learners, thinkers, researchers, inquirers, and interpreters.

At our school, utmost emphasis is placed on language-teaching and modern approaches are adopted in our language programs. Reception classes and first, second and third grade students receive 10 hours of English language instruction per week while fourth and fifth graders receive 11 hours.

Student progress is carefully monitored. Our students take an active part in assessment which is integrated into teaching. A variety of assessment methods are employed such as student-generated rubrics, observation records, checklists, mind maps, portfolios, journals, and tests consisting of fill-in-the-blank, matching and open-ended questions. Assessment results are periodically sent to the parents. Furthermore, parents are sent a letter which includes detailed information about each month’s program. All these are believed to enhance communication between school and parents.

The activities of the Guidance Department aim to discover and develop students’ basic social and cognitive skills as well as enable students to acquire self-confidence and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, the students are assisted in determining and attaining personal targets and in making decisions about their future. Students’ academic achievement is enhanced by enabling them to acquire time management skills and effective studying methods. Parents as well as students are guided through meetings, family school and seminar programs within the scope of school-parent communication scheme.

The new primary school of EYUBOGLU Educational Institutions opened in Ataşehir in 2006-2007 academic year.

A pioneer and a model institution in education since 1970, Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions put into service a primary school in Ataşehir on 7 September, 2006 . Eyüboğlu now provides educational services with 6 schools: High School, Science High School , Çamlıca Primary School , Erenköy Kindergarten, Koşuyolu Kindergarten and Ataşehir Primary School .

Located in a 3000m2 campus, Eyüboğlu Ataşehir Primary School has a capacity of 350 students. The 3-story building with 15 classrooms includes facilities and green areas which are large enough to accommodate all kinds of sports and arts activities. The classrooms are equipped with computers and projection systems.

Students attend Reception through 5 th Grade in Ataşehir Primary School and from 6 th Grade on; they continue their education at Çamlıca Campus.
