Principal’s Message
“The first years in education constitute a period during which life skills, abilities and basic attitudes that the children will need in their future lives are developed. As Eyüboğlu Erenköy Kindergarten, we carry the responsibility of knowing that once we enter children’s lives, we will definitely leave significant marks – either positive or negative. The children will learn from us accepting and being accepted, being fair, rules, responsibility, and distinguishing right from wrong. The happier and more meaningful their pre-school education experiences are, the higher the chances that they will start their future school life with positive feelings and success.
Children do not come to our school to sit quietly and receive ready-made information but rather to see and hear, to express and do, to share and to learn how to learn. We do equip them with all the content material that is included in our program; however it is a more meaningful objective for us to motivate the children to conduct original work by supporting their individual differences and personalities, by tapping their enthusiasm to explore and by allowing them to use their abilities. As we walk towards our goals, we believe in the necessity of establishing a close and warm relationship based on sharing between the parents and us, educators in order to provide our children with the safe and consistent environment that they need.
We will have attained our goals if we develop our students to become inquiring, exploring, balanced, communicative, reflecting, creative individuals whose interests have been identified and well-supported, who are at peace with their environment and with themselves, who can make their own decisions, have a positive self-perception and are distinguished individuals who make a difference.

Erenköy Kindergarten
In line with the increasing emphasis placed on pre-school education, Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions have established two kindergartens. Eyüboğlu Erenköy Kindergarten was opened in academic year 2005-2006. Students of 3 and 4 years of age are admitted into Eyüboğlu Kindergartens.
The students of Eyüboğlu Kindergartens take the first steps towards becoming world citizens through the many activities that they enjoy during their school days. Such activities include the work that the students conduct in native and foreign languages under the supervision of Turkish and foreign-hire teachers; various hands-on experiences in science, mathematics and nature; attention and perception exercises; conceptual, creative and educational activities and games. By applying their acquired knowledge to their everyday lives, they grow up as self-confident, successful and happy individuals.
Education at Eyüboğlu Kindergartens
 In order to ensure integration between our Kindergarten program and our Primary School curriculum, the national program that is implemented in the Kindergartens is supported with the principals of IB PYP (International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program). IB PYP is an international program that aims to develop children to become self-confident, informed individuals who inquire and investigate. It is the fundamental target of IB PYP to develop children in terms of physical, cognitive, psycho-motor, aesthetic, creative, social aspects as well as in languages so that they adapt well to the information age that they live in. These inquiry-based programs are enriched with English, computer, art-ceramics, ballet, rhythmic gymnastics, chess, music and rhythm lessons. Just like in our Primary Schools, the students in our Kindergartens, too grow up as inquisitive, inquiring, communicative and caring individuals as they get the opportunity to develop physically and artistically by participating numerous social activities. In these activities, the students avail themselves of all the facilities on the Kindergarten campuses. They also have the opportunity to reinforce their knowledge on the topics addressed in the classroom by making observations during the events organized by the school such as field trips and visits to the theater.
 From 5 years of age, our students have the right and the priority to make a direct transition to the Reception class of Eyüboğlu Primary School if they choose to continue their education at Eyüboğlu.
Communication with the parents is a subject that we place great importance on. Through regular teacher-parent conferences, periodically issued progress reports and monthly bulletins we ensure that the parents are kept informed about their children’s process of education and development.
At Eyüboğlu Kindergartens, every morning, the students are met by their teachers to be led to their classrooms where they collectively plan their day subsequent to which they enjoy the day to the fullest under the supervision of their teachers. The school pays utmost attention to the students’ getting enough nutrition in the breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack that is served at school. Everyday after lunch, the students take a nap for a duration of time that is appropriate for their age. They enjoy the various educational games that they play in the activity room and in the school’s playground.
Staff
 Eyüboğlu Kindergartens take pride in the quality and experience of their teaching staff. The members of Eyüboğlu staff are recruited through a meticulous process in the light of Eyüboğlu’s institutional principles. All our teachers are qualified graduates of Pre-school education departments of universities. Our principals, class teachers and guidance teachers are proficient in the English language. Throughout the day, the class teachers are supported by teaching aides and assistants in the classrooms.
English language lessons are offered by native-speaker teachers. These teachers also cooperate with the class teachers in teaching certain concepts in English.
Applied courses such as computer, art, music, physical education, drama and swimming are taught by specialist teachers.
 Psychological consultants, in addition to the class teachers, provide the biggest support in ensuring that the 3-4 year olds develop an enthusiasm and liking for the school during their transition period. They constantly monitor the students’ psychological and physical development and share their observations with the parents. Our consultants and specialists provide the parents with guidance and information through the seminars that they organize throughout the year.
School Day
The kids make most of the day and are well-nourished with breakfast, lunch and a mid-afternoon snack. Everyday after lunch, they sleep as long as is required for their specific age. A doctor, a nurse and psychological consultants are available the whole day to ensure that the children grow up as physically and psychologically healthy individuals. At the end of the school day, no matter where they live, the kids will be transported to their homes safely with Eyüboğlu Koşuyolu Kindergarten service buses.
Social Activities
The students are involved in numerous social activities that contribute to their artistic and physical development such as games, drama, music, ballet, dance, rhythm exercises, chess, ceramics, swimming and gymnastics. In these activities, the students avail themselves of the opportunities provided by the Sports and Arts Complex located in Eyüboğlu Çamlıca Campus.

 Our students’ health checks are made and their physical development is monitored regularly by the school doctor and nurses at the fully equipped infirmaries of the Kindergartens.
The students are safely transported to and from the school by the kindergarten service buses under the supervision of hostesses on board. Transport services are provided to all districts of Istanbul .

our Kindergartens provide students from two age groups, i.e. 3 and 4 year olds, with an education that prepares them efficiently for primary and secondary education as self-confident, successful and happy individuals. These students enjoy the opportunity to have priority in being directly admitted to Eyüboğlu Çamlıca Primary School .
