Principal’s Message
 Dear Parents,
Welcome to Eyüboğlu Kemerburgaz Kindergarten and Primary School’s web pages.
We all know that school is the very first social institution that our precious children encounter in their life. A school enables children to acquire the knowledge and values that they will need throughout their lives and equips them with the socialization skills which they will depend on while adapting to their communities.
Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions were founded in 1970 with a view to educating future generations and making sure that young people develop as secular individuals who follow in Atatürk’s footsteps to protect the principles of the Turkish Republic as well as become world citizens. With an initial group of schools which included a high school, a science high school, three kindergartens and two primary schools, in 2008-2009 academic year, Eyüboğlu opened their fourth kindergarten and third primary school in Kemerburgaz.
Our 3-year-old students, who take baby steps into our kindergarten holding on to a very dependable hand, gradually move up through their preschool education and take giant steps to make their way confidently into a solid primary education which will last 8 years.
The security of our 5000 square meter campus is ensured through surveillance cameras within and around the campus as well as certified security guards. The school facilities which have been designed to meet international standards, include sound-insulated comfortable classrooms equipped with ergonomic desks and smart boards which enable internet access and technology use; computer and science laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art technology; art and music studios; dance and multi-purpose rooms; two dining rooms, a library with a collection of 3700 volumes; a gym; and a conference hall. We educate our students as individuals who value themselves and their well-being, show respect to others, know their past, cherish their own social values and culture while at the same time having international and intercultural awareness, are equipped with the accumulation of knowledge and skills to shape the future of their country, and can adopt different perspectives when looking at issues. We place great emphasis on preparing our students for world citizenship by making sure that they use their mother tongue perfectly, speak English with fluency (equivalent to mother tongue) and begin to learn a second foreign language in 5th Grade.
The quality of Eyüboğlu Schools has been certified by a highly regarded international accrediting organization, the Council of International Schools. Eyüboğlu High School became the first Turkish school to be granted CIS accreditation in 2000, Eyüboğlu Çamlıca Primary School got accredited in 2003, and Eyüboğlu Erenköy and Koşuyolu Kindergartens in 2007. In 2008, Eyüboğlu Kemerburgaz Kindergarten and Primary Schools have also been included in the accreditation process and will receive a CIS Team Visit in 2010.
You are more than welcome to visit us between 8:30-18:00 hours on weekdays and between 9:00-17:00 on Saturdays to meet our school administrators and get detailed information about our curriculum, differentiated teaching model, extracurricular activities community service projects and any other aspects of our schools.
