This page is intended to give you some basic information regarding Eyüboğlu Science High School .
In our country, Science High Schools have been founded with the purpose of educating young people who are dedicated to science and have the potential of becoming scientists.
Eyüboğlu Science High School (founded in 1993), just like the other schools within Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions, adopts the vision of educating all its students, academically and socially, to become foremost members of both their national and international communities, and in so doing, becoming an institution that can serve as an educational role model in the world. To attain this vision, Eyüboğlu Science High School aims to raise life-long learning individuals with high ethical and academic standards, who never compromise on Atatürk’s principles and revolutions. In line with this target, the school aims to develop its students to become individuals who have taken the first steps towards becoming highly qualified scientists in addition to having acquired the appropriate social skills.
In order to attain our targets, we primarily and intensely focus on project work, which involves the experimental aspects of sciences. For this kind of work, we cooperate with universities, where necessary. Eyüboğlu Science High School provides all the necessary facilities and conditions to its students who are interested in scientific and technological developments and inventions, thus enabling them to participate in the inter-high school project competitions organized by TÜBİTAK ( The Scientificand Technical Research Council of TURKEY) , TÜBİTAK Olympics and various other competitions in the areas of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. Our students have proven their success by winning various awards in these fields. Moreover, especially the senior class students are provided with intense course work focused specifically on the university entrance exam and this work is assessed through regularly organized trial exams.
Eyüboğlu Science High School students’ rate of university placement has been 100% since its foundation and the students have achieved to be placed in the most preferred universities. Eyüboğlu High School students’ efficiency in getting prepared for the university exam and their success in terms of placement are a consequence of the education that they receive at our school.
The language of instruction is Turkish, however subsequent to the Prep year, great importance is placed on English as first foreign language and on German as second foreign language.
As a school, we try to bring our graduates, parents, teachers and students together outside the school (through activities such as trekking, dinners, visits to the operas, ballets, theaters, concerts, basketball matches, visits to sister schools and old peoples, etc.). This way, we help our students to develop social awareness and contribute to our school community’s intermingling. Admission
Students are admitted based on their scores on the standard Science High Schools Entrance Exams organized by the Ministry of Education every year. Students who score above a certain minimum of points – which may change from year to year – are deemed qualified to enter Eyüboğlu High School .
