New Country

Moving to a new country can be very difficult. First when you want to do shopping, you money will be different from the new country. For example, your real money is the dollar, but in the new country the money could be the Euro. Next, your language will be different from the new country's language. You can't communicate with new people. Then, ın your new country, it is difficult to go to a new school. In your new school, you must make new friends. Next, you must change your home and you must meet new neighbors so that you won't be bored in your new home. Also, when you are eating your new food, you might not like the food and you must become used to the new foods. Finally, I think moving to a new country is a most difficult thing.

Dear My Journal ,

Hello! How are you today? I guess you are fine and ready for a new topic.

Today's topic is 'advantages and disadvantages of Internet'. You know, Internet is a huge world wide web all around the world. Everybody in the world can communicate there. Everyone can build a web site there and you can find all the information you need from these sites. Beside this you can download pictures from there, play games on different sites and join to the onlıne-multimedıa-free games. It has millions of users and now this Internet can change eveything in our life. However, it has also some disadvantages. First of all, some of the computer game creators or the antivirus programmers sometimes won't be happy with their programs' sales, so they put viruses to the internet. This virus is an Internet virus, not a virus that makes us sick. Those viruses will be everywhere because 'www' has a connection all arouınd the world. When you open a virus site, this virus will load itself into your comptuer, without your permission. Also, it can damage your computer as well. Some of them will talk to your frıends without you, some of them will open the computer while you are sleeping, some of them will open the internet, some of them will delete the files on your computer. Besides this, the worst of all, they can damge your computer and turn this intelligent maching into a huge empty box. A virus' coming will be a watste of money. Some people paid a hundered dollar to the phone bill, some people paid millions of Turkish Lira to buy a new computer. Although the internet has disadvantages it can be a very useful programme when you know how to use it.

Dear Kitty,

Today's topic ıs "nothing is impossible". There's a proverb in English, "If there is a will, there is always a way". This proverb means that if we really want to do somethıng and really believe in it, then there's nothing that can stop us from doing that.

Well, the best examples for this topic are the people who have no arms and legs. It's so sad, isn't it? I heard a story about a man who has no legs. He tried so hard and at last, he could drive a car himself. The car he drove was a special car made especially for him, but anyway he tried to change something in his life. Then when his story was heard all over the world, he wrote a book about how to have expectations for the future and never lose hope even in such a bad situation like his.

I guess it's enough for thıs sad topic. Bye...

Paragraph Writing

Our solar system has nine planets. Their names are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Nowadays they say that there's another planet, but it's not proved yet. The biggest planet is Jupiter and the smallest one is Pluto, which is the farthest one to the sun. Mercury is the nearest planet to the sun, but Venus is hotter than Mercury because of its atmosphere. Ancient Greeks saw Venus and told eachother that it's the most beautiful object that they ever saw in sky, because it shined like a great star. So in every term of history, people was interested in the space. The objects in sky such as planets, stars and the sun always took people's interest. So these are the planets ın our solar system.

How Did Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes affect you?

My Dear Friends,

After I read this story, I felt very sorry about her. I think it is unfair. She isn't enemy. She didn't do anything to them but she become ill because of Americans. I felt sad when she died. They were guilty for me. She was only living when they dropped atom bombs. She didn't know anything about that. It wasn't her fault. It affected everybody. There weren't any trees because of atom bomb. The people died and I wanted to save them, so I didn't like America. I think they were cruel. I couldn't understand what is America doing. I think Japanese did the same thing when they bombed Pearl Harbour, so they were guilty too.
