The Snowman by Raymond Briggs and Gail Ellis
The Snowman is an enchanting story about a young boy called James and a snowman who comes to life. The book serves as an ideal vehicle for introducing the past tense via a picture based story with a simple prose narrative and uses listening comprehension activities, song, video, activity pages and projects.
